Students Grievance & Redressal Committee

The Institution provides mechanism to the students for redressal of their grievances with regard to their complaints on academic and non-academic matters, Grievances related to Assessment, Attendance, Conducting of examinations and Harassment by colleague students etc.

Procedure for Redressal of Grievances is as Under:

An aggrieved student who has any grievances at the Programme level shall make an application first to the Co- Ordinator/ Class Tutor / HOD as the case may be. They, after verifying the facts will try to readdress the grievance within a reasonable time, preferably within a week of the receipt of application of the student. If the student is not satisfied with the solution of the Co- Ordinator/ Class Tutor, as the case may be then the same should be placed before the principal.

Purpose

The Grievance Redressal cell of the college functions with the following purposes

To ensure a democratic environment in the campus
To acquaint all students about their rights and duties
To solve the various personal and educational related grievances of the students
To make the institution student friendly and
To ensure the qualitative as well as quantitative development of the institution through the grievance and redressal cell.

Responsibility for Redressal

The final responsibility for Grievance Redressal rest with the principal of the college
The college expects that Grievance Redressal be time bound and result oriented.
Every Grievance is expected to be resolved within a maximum period of fifteen working days.
The Grievance Redressal Cell of the college shall monitor status and progress of Grievance Redressal and shall furnish quarterly report on Grievance Redressal position to the Principal.
